CHILL PILL

I say this all of the time and when said I immediately think I need to stop using this expression. But I still use it, because I’ve come to realise that a chill pill does not need to be a pharmaceutical. My chill pill is 15 minutes of uninterrupted drawing or reading time or a chick flick, with a cup of tea and a blanket. FREE HUGS

Lettering is something I have always loved. Now I combine lettering with my other passion; illustration. This piece of a monster giving free hugs was born from the question what I miss most during lockdown. It turned out I missed hugs the most, but any physical contact. The touch of a hand on a shoulder used to bring solace, now people jump back as if I am the disease. I have several RISO prints left. Contact me if you are interested.

I turns out I rather enjoy illustrating games. I have three finished projects so far. PRONGED PALLS a memory matching game PLAYING CARDS an illustrated deck JUNGLE DOMINO illustrated game I love the slight variation in the greenery, the handlettering of the text and the different animals.
